Founder of a Private School at Kpando
This artwork honours the founder of a private school at Kpando, a suburb in the Volta Region. The family commissioned a concrete bust in her memory as a tribute to her contributions. The piece is among the early works of Mr Cyril Senyo Kpodo, during a period when he was experimenting with texture in his sculptural practice.
